Per Board Rules and Regulations, public comments will be accepted during the public comment periods designated on the agenda. Written comments may be provided by email to cricker@town.arlington.ma.us by Monday, February 27, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. The Board requests that correspondence that includes visual information should be provided by Friday, February 24, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.

The Arlington Redevelopment Board will meet Monday, February 27, 2023 at 7:30 PM in the

Arlington Community Center, Main Hall, 27 Maple Street, Arlington, MA 02476

1.Continued Public Hearing: Docket #3650 190-200 Mass. Ave.
7:30 p.m. Notice is herewith given that an application has been filed on December 20, 2022 by 190 & 192-200 Massachusetts Ave, LLC, 455 Massachusetts Avenue, Suite 1, Arlington, MA, to reopen Special Permit Docket #3650 in accordance with the provisions of MGL Chapter 40A § 11, and the Town of Arlington Zoning Bylaw Section 3.4, Environmental Design Review. The applicant proposes to construct a mixed-use building containing retail and 30 residential units, including 5 affordable units, at 190 & 192-200 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA in the B3 Village Business District. The opening of the Special Permit is to allow the Board to review and approve the development under Section 3.4, Environmental Design Review.

• Applicant will be provided 15 minutes for an update on materials requested by the Board.
• DPCD staff will be provided 5 minutes for an overview of their updated Public Hearing Memorandum.
• Members of the public will be provided time to comment.
• Board members will discuss Docket and may vote.

2.Open Space and Recreation Plan Update
8:15 p.m. The ARB appointee to the Open Space Committee will provide an update on the work of the Committee and the completed Open Space and Recreation Plan, which was adopted by the Board on July 25, 2022.
 

3.EDR Application Review
8:30 p.m. Board will review and provide comment on the revised application for a Special Permit under Environmental Design Review.
 

4.Schedule for 2023 Annual Town Meeting
8:50 p.m. Board will review the final hearing schedule for zoning amendments on the 2023 Annual Town Meeting warrant.

5.Open Forum
9:00 p.m. Except in unusual circumstances, any matter presented for consideration of the Board shall neither be acted upon, nor a decision made the night of the presentation. There is a three minute time limit to present a concern or request. 

6.Meeting Minutes
9:15 p.m.  Board will review and approve meeting minutes from January 23, 2023 and February 6, 2023.
