Per Board Rules and Regulations, public comments will be accepted during the public comment periods designated on the agenda. Written comments may be provided by email to cricker@town.arlington.ma.us by Monday, August 28, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. The Board requests that correspondence that includes visual information should be provided by Friday, August 25, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.

The Arlington Redevelopment Board will meet Monday, August 28, 2023 at 7:30 PM in the

Select Board chambers, Town Hall, 2nd floor, 730 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA 02476

1.Review Meeting Minutes
7:30 pm Board will review and vote to approve meeting minutes for 7/10/2023 and 7/24/2023.

2.Public Hearing: Docket #3760, 1306-1308 Massachusetts Avenue

Notice is herewith given that an application has been filed on July 18, 2023, by RB Farina Roofing, 1319 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA, to open Special Permit Docket #3760 in accordance with the provisions of MGL Chapter 40A § 11, and the Town of Arlington Zoning Bylaw Sections 3.3, Special Permits, and 3.4, Environmental Design Review. The applicant proposes to construct a showroom and office at 1306-1308 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA in the B3 Village Business District which requires a change of use. The opening of the Special Permit is to allow the Board to review and approve the change of use under Section 3.4, Environmental Design Review.

3.Public Hearing: Docket #3759, 355 Massachusetts Avenue

Notice is herewith given that an application has been filed on July 18, 2023, by Matt DeMello, DeMello Fine Building and Woodworking, 355 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA, to open Special Permit Docket #3759 in accordance with the provisions of MGL Chapter 40A § 11, and the Town of Arlington Zoning Bylaw Sections 3.3, Special Permits, and 3.4, Environmental Design Review. The applicant proposes to remodel the interior and exterior of a multi-use building located at 355 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA, in the B1 Neighborhood Office District. The opening of the Special Permit is to allow the Board to review and approve the changes to the exterior under Section 3.4, Environmental Design Review.

Notice is herewith given that an application has been filed on May 2, 2023, by Calyx Peak of MA, Inc., P.O. Box 1358, Mansfield, MA, 02048, to open Special Permit Docket #3752 in accordance with the provisions of MGL Chapter 40A § 11, and the Town of Arlington Zoning Bylaw Sections 3.3, Special Permits, and 3.4, Environmental Design Review. The applicant proposes to establish a marijuana retail establishment at 251 Summer Street, Arlington, MA in the B4 Vehicular Oriented Business District. The opening of the Special Permit is to allow the Board to review and approve the development under Section 3.3, Special Permits, and Section 3.4, Environmental Design Review.
